The Most Wonderful Time in the West

Q: How do you feel about being selected to participate in Colorado Independent Women of Film?
JE: Very excited to be in the company of so many talented and creative women.

Q: What are your hopes for the event?
JE: To see great storytelling.

Q: How important is it to focus on regional women filmmakers?
JE: A focus on regional women filmmakers gives us that are new to making movies a chance to shine on a stage that might not otherwise be available to us.

Q: Who would enjoy attending the festival? Is it just for the filmmaking community, or is there a reason why non-filmmakers should attend?
JE: Anyone who enjoys original stories should attend.

Q: Tell me briefly about yourself and your film/project.
JE: The Most Wonderful Time in the West was born out of tradition that my husband and I make a holiday video each year. This is the largest production we have ever done.

Q: Tell us one unique thing about you and/or your movies?
JE: We work with a VERY small crew. When shooting this movie the most people on set at any time was three.

Q: What else are you working on?
JE: Concepts for X-mas 2018.

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to say about Colorado Independent Women of Film?
JE: Thank you for providing a place for first time filmmakers to showcase their work.

The Most Wonderful Time in the West will screen Saturday, May 19th at 4:00 p.m. at The Bug Theatre.
